Switchyard Upgrade | Power

Collier Associates provided engineering and design services to upgrade their existing switchyard. This project included replacing all the existing OCB Breakers with new SF6 style breakers. Collier Associates developed the complete electrical construction design pack to rewire all the breakers in the switchyard as well as in the main control board relay panels that were located in the existing control room. Collier Associates developed and implemented a breaker failure protection scheme for all the switchyard breakers. As a part of the design Collier Associates created all new wiring diagrams and schematics and were involved in performing the functional testing of the new breakers during startup.
